As part of Art SG 2024, Southeast Asia’s leading art fair, I was approached by Thaddaeus Ropac Gallery to represent 2 of their special pieces for the exhibition. American Pop artist James Rosenquist’s monumental painting ‘Untitled (Singapore)’ was created in 1995, shortly after he visited Singapore. This painting was presented by me through a source collage, a mixed-media work that offered insights into the processes the artist picked up during his early career as a billboard painter.
